Fund Raising Dinner with Lawrence Blair and Award-Winning Film Makers at Hotel Tugu Bali, May 7th 2019
The iconic Hotel Tugu Bali as parts of its mission in bringing back to life the art, soul and romance of Indonesia in collaboration with the Bali International Indigenous Film Festival proudly present a very special fundraising evening on May 7th.
Join this enchanting evening as Lawrence Blair, filmmaker, author and anthropologist, a legendary figure of Indonesia and award-winning documentary filmmaker of the Emmy-nominated BBC/PBS series, “Ring of Fire.” Along with; Charles Hill Smith, an award-winning Australian filmmaker, Hugo Metz, a film producer, Marko Randelovic, a very talented documentary filmmaker, Miliwanga; an Aboriginal leader from Arnhem Land a vast wilderness area of Australia’s Northern Territory, Craig Commanda and Jani Bellefleur, two indigenous film makers from Kitigan Zibi First Nation, Quebec, Canada and Innu community of Nutashkuan First Nations Reserve will head each available table.
A sumptuous four-course meal will be served at Hotel Tugu Bali’s majestic Bale Agung, designed to revive and preserve the almost forgotten stories from the past, surrounding the remote cultures of Indonesia.
