SAIGONSAN introducing: SAIGONSAN ROOFTOP Under The Stars

Malang, East Java –July 2019. The recently opened thematic restaurant located in the heart of Malang city; SaigonSan is an embodiment of the Indochina spirit, including that of Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Burma and Cambodia. Attached to the iconic Hotel Tugu Malang, the establishment offers a splendid décor and modern Indochina cuisine that tells a rich history from many centuries.

Signifying the end of the rainy season, SaigonSan is proudly introducing its newest venue that is opening on 13 July 2019; SaigonSan Rooftop Under the Stars.  Inspired by the colorful night markets festivals in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, SaigonSan Rooftop is like a younger brother of the more mature, supremely elegant existing venues SaigonSan and Royal Angkor downstairs. Colorful, playful, decorated with arts inspired by local contemporary Vietnamese artists, shaded by hundred years old trees and Thai pergolas, featuring relaxed low seating, fluffy cushions, and romantically lit by dozens of lanterns, SaigonSan Rooftop is the ultimate place to live the moment, spending lazy afternoons and romantic evenings where time pauses, people watching on the streets down below, and seeing the crimson dusk slowly being replaced by twinkling lights and the stars.

With playlists curated by international DJs and live performances on the weekends, this intimate space provides the perfect setting for guests to enjoy the best Vietnamese coffee in town as well as Asian-inspired cocktails whipped up by the entertaining baristas behind the rooftop bar, while indulging in authentic street foods from the very best Indochina region (Thailand, Vietnam Laos, Burma and Cambodia). SaigonSan also offers various exciting light bites, grilled satays influenced by the neighboring countries’ flavors,  as well as the classic Banh Mi.

Discover great moments with friends or your loved one accompanied with a glass of Chanlina; cinnamon infused vodka with honey, lemongrass and kaffir lime or SAWADEE; gin infused with tarragon and rosemary, muddled dragon fruit and strawberry with a dash of Midori. If you’re not much of a drinker, invigorating non-alcoholic mocktails such as Kannika; a concoction of passion fruit puree, coconut milk and  lychee syrup, or Anurak ; a refreshing combo of cucumber, tarragon leaf, star fruit with elder flower syrup would make a perfect choice.
