This Easter, House of Tugu Jakarta invites you to celebrate amidst history, heritage and heartfelt traditions
with a weekend stay and brunch experience unlike any other in the city. Tucked within the heart of Jakarta’s
Old Town, House of Tugu is more than a hotel—it is a living museum. Every corner tells a story, where
curated antiques blend with Peranakan heritage and the elegance of bygone Batavia lingers in every suite,
dining room and hallway.
Over the Easter weekend—and throughout the festive season from April 10 to 30, 2024—this timeless
setting transforms into a festive family retreat inspired by both European and Indonesian traditions. On
Sunday, April 20th, the celebration centers around “Easter in Old Batavia”—a refined Easter brunch set
across Jajaghu Restaurant and Babah Koffie by Kawisari. Guests will be welcomed with live jazz echoing
through carved teakwood halls, as families gather around long communal tables adorned with old-world
charm.
The menu features European Easter classics with a Dutch colonial touch—krentenbollen, Paasstol, roasted
lamb, poffertjes, and a parade of spring-inspired sweets. While adults soak in the soulful setting and warm
hospitality, children are invited to join an Easter egg hunt woven through the museum-like spaces of the
hotel—making memories as they explore its storied halls.
Guests not staying overnight are also welcome to join the celebration—Easter Brunch is available at IDR
400.000++ per person and includes live jazz and access to the full festive menu.
Extend the celebration with a stay in one of House of Tugu’s signature suites, where four-poster beds,
vintage batik and curated artworks immerse you in the romance of another era. Thisstay package is priced
