Born into a diplomatic family with long artistic tradition,
Laila Dempster is primarily a portrait artist. Having traveled the world extensively,
Laila found a home for herself in Jakarta in 1971 and has been happily here ever since.
Aside from her stunning and utterly life-like portraits,
the artist expresses her deep love for Indonesia, it’s people, traditions and landscapes through her artwork.

As an oasis of art, culture and culinary delights, it is certain that from now on
