The Jakarta String Ensemble and Monarch Orcaellanum Luminare Choir is a group of talented and intensely passionate musicians who wish to romancing ‘The Celebration Of Love’ with their musical works from various composers from around the world.
This is their second performance at the Art & Performance Hall of the historic beautiful Tugu Kunstkring Paleis building. After the first great success playing ‘Serenades in a December Evening’, they will play 90 minutes their vast array for those who enjoy the beauty of love “in the Paleis”, on this romantic time of the year.
Join the celebration of romance, and enjoy the variety of pieces : Liebestraum (Franz List), Traumerei (Schumann), Salut de Amor (Elgar), Prince Igor /Stranger in Paradise (Borodin), Cavaleria Rusticana (Pietro Mascagni).
And some soundtracks of film, like ‘Somewhere in Time’ , ‘The Way We Were’, ‘Il Girasoli (Sunflower)’, ‘Same Time Next Year’, etc.
Some of the talented minds behind this project include Angela Astri Soemantri, conductor; Prima Muchlisin, concert master; Amadeus Giovani Biga Reka Bagaskara, violinist; Darmawan Susilo, music arranger; and Monty P. Satiadarma, creative director.
